Synopsis
The Guardians send Soren and the Chaw of Chaws undercover into St. Aegolius to learn how the Pure Ones are acquiring flecks, magnetic particles that can disable owls. After a dangerous escape the young owls bring warning that the Pure Ones are about to attack the Great Ga'Hoole Tree, and the Guardians must hold out through a long siege of their island home.
