Notes
- Elminster series #3.
- From the series record (Elminster series): Ed Greenwood's 8-novel line about the setting's signature wizard Elminster Aumar (1994-2012); the final 3 volumes are also marketed as "The Sage of Shadowdale" trilogy, a direct continuation of the same reading order, not a separate series. Individual volumes registered 2026-08-18, completing a series stub that had been registered without them since the original admission.
Neighbouring works
Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings and are never conflated: a book's place in one says nothing about its place in the other.

- Internal chronology, within Forgotten Realms: position 111 of 215: previous Night Masks (1992) · next Darkwell (1989)
