Synopsis
The Thousand Eyes continues the Serpent Gates series after The Unspoken Name, following Csorwe some years after the events of the first novel as her long partnership with the wizard Sethennai faces new strain, and as consequences of their earlier search for a powerful artifact resurface in ways neither fully anticipated. New threats tied to the interdimensional gates and rival magical powers introduced in the first novel draw Csorwe and those around her into a widening conflict that tests loyalties built up over years of service. The novel deepens the series' exploration of ambition, devotion, and the costs of the choices Csorwe made in becoming Sethennai's operative, extending the story into new corners of the setting established in The Unspoken Name.
