Synopsis
Will Taylor, a Berkeley student, is introduced by his best friend Ben to the Feierabend family: the sisters Livvy, Maddie and Rose, and their absent-minded mother Sylvia. Will falls for Livvy, a chemistry major and gifted cook. The Feierabend women seem to enjoy remarkable luck, but the family behaves strangely and the gifts appear to come at a steep price. Rose keeps track of the family history, and as Will and Ben dig into it they begin to suspect that a supernatural bargain was struck long ago. They have to understand its terms before it claims Livvy, whose fate looks unavoidable.
