Synopsis
The Valley of the Lost is the seventh book in the Deltora Quest series. With six gems already secured, Lief, Barda, and Jasmine cross the River Tor and rescue their ally Dain from pirates before reaching the empty city of Tora, abandoned after its people broke an ancient oath by refusing sanctuary to King Endon years earlier, a betrayal that drained the Torans of their life force. Their search for the final gem, the diamond, leads them to the Valley of the Lost, ruled by a mysterious figure called the Guardian, who challenges them to solve riddles and discover his true name within a set time limit or become his subjects forever.
