Synopsis
Seven years after the Veil between humanity and the supernatural was torn open, paranormal people are confined to a walled community in New Orleans that humans call the District and residents call Devil's Isle. Claire Connolly is a human Sensitive with untrained magic who hides her powers. After she uses them in public, Liam Quinn, who distrusts magic users, takes her to Devil's Isle for training. When the Veil threatens to collapse completely, the two must work together to save the city.
