Synopsis
Twelve-year-old Lusi can talk to ghosts, which most people dismiss as lying or madness. When her older sister Marsi flees an arranged marriage planned by their uncle, the two set out for the Wizards Guild. Uncle catches up with them quickly and shows how well connected he is among powerful wizards. Lusi learns she is a necromancer, a kind of magic users are taught to fear. With the help of a ghost girl, a dragon and an odd wizard from the far side of the world, she must learn to control her powers and protect her family.
