Synopsis
A headless corpse surfaces from a sewer in Boston's Weird neighborhood, and former Guild investigator Connor Grey is drawn into the case. The Dead who visited Earth in the previous book are now stranded here, and the Weird has been tainted, making its living and dead residents more aggressive. Both faerie courts have set their sights on Connor, and their rivalry threatens a war that would harm humans and fey alike. He uncovers a conspiracy that could reach the city's top figures and must learn to control the dark parasite in his mind.
