Synopsis
Violet Thistlewaite Is Not a Villain Anymore, published in 2025, follows Violet Thistlewaite, who spent a lifetime as the dark sorcerer's right hand, carrying out his schemes without question, until she decides she is done and sets out to become good. She settles in the quaint town of Dragon's Rest, where magic and small-town life mix openly, and opens a flower shop stocked with enchanted, unpredictable plants, trying to build the peaceful existence her old life never allowed. Her efforts to blend in are complicated by Nathaniel Marsh, a prickly alchemist next door who has no patience for having a former villain as his neighbor. When a mysterious blight begins spreading through Dragon's Rest and threatening the town's magical balance, Violet and Nathaniel find themselves forced to work together, testing both her claim to a changed life and his reluctance to trust her.
