Synopsis
Brak, a blond, braided barbarian from the frozen north, keeps travelling toward the southern realm of Khurdisan the Golden. He reaches the sea hoping to find a ship, but raiders attack his party, capture him and force him to work as a galley slave. At sea he meets even worse dangers, among them an idol that is animated by the spirit of a vengeful witch. The story first ran as a two-part magazine serial in 1964 and was published as a paperback in 1978.
