Synopsis

Lily and her family move in with her grandmother, who is unwell. Her grandmother has always told Lily and her sister stories from Korea, tales of tigers and the bargains people make with them. Soon after the move, a tiger from those stories begins to appear to Lily. It offers a deal: if she returns something her grandmother took from the tigers long ago, her grandmother will get well again. But in the stories, deals with tigers are rarely simple, and Lily is not sure whether to trust it. With help from her sister and a new friend, Ricky, she starts to uncover a family secret and has to find the courage to face what her grandmother took, and what it will cost to give it back.
