Synopsis
Wildwood Imperium concludes the Wildwood Chronicles, continuing directly from the industrialist incursions and political turmoil that closed Under Wildwood, as Prue and her allies confront the escalating consequences of outside interference in Wildwood's affairs. With the boundary between the ordinary world and the hidden forest realm increasingly compromised, the novel follows Prue as she is drawn deeper into Wildwood's factional conflicts and the widening scheme threatening both the Wood and the city of Portland beyond it. The trilogy's conclusion brings together the personal, political, and magical threads established across Wildwood and Under Wildwood, following Prue's continued growth from an ordinary schoolgirl into someone bound up in Wildwood's fate.
