Overview
El libro de Nobac is a standalone novel by the Uruguayan-born writer Federico Fernández Giordano, who lives in Barcelona. It won the Premio Minotauro in 2008, a Spanish prize for fantasy literature, and was published by Ediciones Minotauro. An elderly man hires a journalist and a struggling writer to document a book that narrates its own life day by day. The pair are drawn into a labyrinthine plot that blurs memory, time and fiction. Reviewers describe it as crime fiction blended with fantasy and surrealist touches. A paperback edition appeared in the Booket imprint in 2009. The universe consists of this single novel.
