Overview
A standalone 2024 war fantasy set in a world reliant on the chimerical, sentient Burning Grass, a strategic and near-sacred resource that both sides of a long-running conflict depend on. The novel follows a soldier drafted back into a war he has already lost everything to once, as a fragile truce collapses and the story presses hard on the costs of sustained violence and the shape a genuinely pacifist response to it can take.
