Paul Hazel (born July 1, 1944, in Bridgeport, Connecticut) is an American novelist best known for the Finnbranch trilogy, a work of Celtic-rooted mythic fantasy written in a dense, folkloric prose style. He also published the novel The Wealdwife's Tale (1993) and short fiction in anthologies including Elsewhere Two (1982) and Prime Evil (1988).
