Synopsis
The protagonist is Jin Shiyi, a cynical, hot-tempered fighter nicknamed the Poison Hand Mad Beggar. Rescued by Tang Xiaolan, he is still troubled by his first love, the Ice Maiden, who has married another man. His unresolved feelings lead him into tangled romances with several women, among them Gu Zhihua, a disciple of Lu Siniang, and Li Qinmei. Li Shengnan, a woman bent on destroying the villain Meng Shentong, becomes a key figure in his path, which extends to an overseas island where ancient martial arts manuals are said to lie.
