Synopsis
After Gaav, the Hellmaster Fibrizo, who has killed Gaav, takes Gourry away. Lina sets out to get him back and has to confront Fibrizo in a version of Sairaag that is not what it seems. To have any chance, she turns to the most dangerous spell she knows, one that draws on a power far beyond human limits. The story is the climax of the first arc and centres on Lina's relationship with Gourry and the cost of her strongest magic.
