Synopsis
The Watershed is a mountain range that divides the world into three lands. Dalethica is the ordinary country where humans live, Faerine is a hidden realm of good magic, and Duloth-Trol is the dark land ruled by the evil god Dassadec. After a thousand years of sleep, Dassadec plans to conquer the world. His servant Nicodareus persuades the human prince Garamis to climb the highest peak and bring back the Ice of Three Waters, which can break the illusions that keep humans out of Faerine and let an army invade. Rudy Appenfell, a young mountaineer who wants revenge on Garamis for his brothers, is drawn in, along with Danri, a digger from Faerine, and Raine, a warrior and scholar trained for a prophesied conflict.
