Synopsis
The concluding volume of the Shades of Magic trilogy finds Kell, Lila and their allies confronting a magical threat spreading between the parallel Londons. In the aftermath of the tournament that closed the previous book, a dangerous force has been unleashed that threatens to spill across the boundaries separating Red, Grey, and White London, endangering all three worlds at once. Kell, still recovering from the toll his magic has taken on him, must work alongside Lila, his brother Rhy, and other allies old and new to understand the nature of this spreading threat before it grows beyond anyone's ability to contain. As the danger escalates, the group is forced to travel between the different Londons, each with its own dangers and politics, in a race to keep the encroaching darkness from consuming everything they are trying to protect.
