Synopsis
A Soul Full of Shadows concludes the trilogy begun in A Mind Full of Murder, with the wider magical society on the verge of being torn in two. An island stronghold of sorcerers, a terrorist organization, and Valkyrie Cain's own sister each set catastrophic events in motion, leaving Valkyrie's odds of coming through the crisis looking slight. Skulduggery Pleasant and Valkyrie must navigate threats converging from multiple directions at once, drawing on allies built up across the earlier books of the trilogy as the conflicts started in A Mind Full of Murder and A Heart Full of Hatred reach their culmination. The eighteenth book follows the characters as they try to hold the fracturing magical world together.
