Synopsis
During a time of elven crisis, two threads unfold in parallel: the Elven Exiles struggle to survive in the distant kingdom of Khur under Speaker Gilthas as they cross the desert seeking refuge, while in occupied Qualinesti a mysterious masked rebel with unusual powers rises against the occupying forces. The threads converge when Kerianseray, the Lioness and Kagonesti general, is mysteriously transported from Khur back to Qualinesti.
