Synopsis

Exiled elven nations have taken refuge in the desert land of Khur under the leadership of Speaker Gilthas and his warrior wife Kerianseray. When an ancient map falls into Gilthas's hands, it hints at a hidden valley where the desert meets the mountains -- a possible permanent home for the elves, if the secret forces already at work there can be overcome.

  • Internal chronology, within Dragonlance: position 23 of 164: previous Kaz the Minotaur (1990) · next Conundrum (2001)
