Synopsis
Amari and the Despicable Wonders, the third book in B.B. Alston's Supernatural Investigations series, opens as war breaks out across the supernatural world, forcing Amari Peters to contend with two dangerous enemies at once: Elaine Harlowe, who has seized power through mind control over much of the Bureau, and Dylan Van Helsing, the new leader of the League of Magicians. Determined to end the war on their own terms rather than wait for the adults around them to act, Amari and her friends set out to find a set of powerful magical artifacts known as Wonders, believing they may hold the key to stopping the conflict. Wielding the Wonders, however, comes at a steep personal price, and Amari must weigh what she and her friends are willing to risk to bring the war to an end.
