Synopsis
Arkadien brennt (Arcadia Burns) is the second novel in Kai Meyer's Arkadien trilogy, following Arkadien erwacht. Having survived a plot involving people who transform into predatory beasts and a blood feud between rival mafia clans on Sicily, and caught up in a forbidden attraction to Alessandro, Rosa urgently needs distance from what happened there. She travels back to New York, retracing the life she left behind before Sicily, but the distance does not free her from what she is running from, and her old life among the Arkadien island group continues to reach for her even from across the ocean.
