Synopsis
Twenty years have passed since the tiny kingdom of the Icemark last defended itself from invasion. Many years after Queen Thirrin and her allies drove back the brutal invaders, the Icemark's fate rests with Thirrin, Oskan Witchfather and their family of five strong-willed children, two girls and three boys, as a new threat gathers. Or will it rest with Sharley, the youngest and weakest son, strangely foretold to travel far away and return with a blade of fire? The second epic adventure of the Icemark Chronicles, published in the United Kingdom in September 2006 and in the United States in February 2007.
