Synopsis
The Master of Natchez, Mississippi, hires skinwalker Jane Yellowrock to stop rogue vampires who are terrorizing his city and treating its people as prey. The job looks routine, but the rogues turn out to be much harder to kill than she expected, and what began as a simple contract becomes a fight for survival. At the same time Jane has taken responsibility for a seriously ill child who has been left in her care, which gives her a reason to win that goes beyond payment. Jane and her inner Beast must work out what makes these vampires different before the streets are lost.
