Synopsis

Millie Roper, a young film student with borderline personality disorder, is in a residential psychiatric facility after a suicide attempt that cost her both legs and ended her career. Her recovery is interrupted when Caryl Vallo offers her a job with the Arcadia Project, a secret organization based in Hollywood that manages travel between Earth and a parallel realm of fairy tale and myth, home to the Fey. Millie moves into a house with other agents, all of them damaged in their own ways, and is given a first case: finding Rivenholt, a Seelie Court nobleman who has gone missing while posing as a movie star. As she searches for him, she runs into a conspiracy that could push the human world and the Fey courts into open war.
