Synopsis
Four months after her partner Teo died at the hands of a hostile fey noblewoman, Millie Roper has left the Arcadia Project. She returns to the Hollywood soundstage where he was killed, now sealed as a magical crime scene, for a final inspection with her former boss, Caryl. There they see what looks like Teo's tormented spirit, although Caryl insists ghosts do not exist. Soon afterwards an official from the Project's national headquarters is found dead, killed with dark magic that only a warlock like Caryl could use. Convinced Caryl is innocent, Millie sets out to find the real culprits, who can be seen only when they choose, and to clear her name before the Project punishes her, while a larger magical plot threatens both worlds.
