Synopsis
Brak is a blond barbarian from the frozen north who has been cast out by his tribe's shamans after mocking their war gods. He sets out on a journey south toward Khurdisan the Golden, a fabled warm land beyond the mountains and deserts. Each stage of the road brings a new magical peril, among them a demon-worshipping cult that wants him as a sacrifice, a slave revolt in a king's mines, a soul-stealing sorcerer and a city of tormented ghosts. Along the way he comes into conflict with the dark god Yob-Haggoth and his servant Septegundus. Many of the episodes feature a giant monster, and the chapters began as linked magazine stories.
