Synopsis
Bridge of Dreams is the third book in Anne Bishop's story of the living world Ephemera. Lee is a Bridge, a person who can join fragments of the broken world. He is captured by evil wizards and blinded, then imprisoned in an asylum in the city of Vision. There he finds an ally in the Keeper, Danyal, and a romance with his caretaker, Zhahar. Publishers Weekly describes the novel as strong on world-building, with more focus on the interactions between its characters than on action, and as continuing the series' exploration of a world whose landscapes are bound to its inhabitants.
