Synopsis
Picking up where Dragonwall left off, the conclusion of the Empires Trilogy follows King Azoun of Cormyr as he masterminds and then leads a crusade to defend the whole of western Faerûn after Yamun Khahan and his Tuigan horsemen invade the East, Ashanath, Rashemen and Thesk. Where Horselords told the story from the Tuigan side and Dragonwall from that of Shou Lung, Crusade is told from the perspective of Azoun and the West, with two parallel stories running beside the war: the king's relations with his estranged daughter Alusair, and the adventures of John Razor, a fletcher from Suzail who takes part in the crusade. By James Lowder.
