Synopsis
Learned Edmund, a scholar leaving the priesthood, is escorting a relic sword when bandits attack and he draws the blade in desperation, releasing the Dervish, an immortal warrior bound inside the enchanted steel for centuries and none too pleased about his imprisonment. The reluctant pair, sequel to Swordheart's Halla and Sarkis, must then travel together and contend with bandits, a cult, and worse along the way.
