Synopsis
Jane Yellowrock, once a vampire hunter, is now Enforcer to Leo Pellissier, Master of the vampires of New Orleans. The emperor of the European vampires has challenged Leo to a blood duel to the death, with Leo's power and possessions at stake. If Leo loses, the city falls. Jane prepares to fight beside him and the vampires of New Orleans. The duel takes place amid heavy supernatural forces, and she can rely on only a few people she trusts. Jane and her inner Beast must decide how far they will go to keep the city and the people in it from falling under the emperor's control.
