Synopsis
Jane Yellowrock is a shape-shifting skinwalker who serves as Enforcer to Leo Pellissier, the Master of the City of New Orleans. A delegation of ancient European vampires arrives and asks to expand its territory. At the same time, revenant vampires that should not have risen begin to appear in the city. Jane has to face a form of deadly magic and a group of near-immortals who are hungry for power. She investigates the revenants while trying to protect Leo, her friends and the people she works with from visitors who are far older and more dangerous than anyone she usually faces.
