Synopsis
The survivors sail on aboard the ship Achnart, seeking a settled and peaceful life. Merisse travels with Mahavir and Baron Peon through a wide world that is dangerous and hard to predict. Along the way she grows from the restless young woman of the first book into someone who understands herself and her place. The book closes the three-part story, and Peter Schaap finished it after Wim Gijsen's death in 1990.
