Synopsis
Gin Blanco, the assassin known as the Spider, attends the biggest summer gala in Ashland, an exhibition of the late Mab Monroe's valuable possessions at the Briartop art museum. She expects a quiet night off, but the event is interrupted when armed thieves take the guests hostage. Gin is carrying knives under her gala dress and has her Ice and Stone magic available, so the robbers are about to learn why she considers red her color. She has to protect the guests while dealing with the thieves, who have chosen the wrong evening and the wrong room to carry out their plan.
