Synopsis
Gin Blanco, a former assassin known as the Spider, is hunted in Ashland. Salina, a water elemental with a past tied to Gin's lover, Owen Grayson, returns to town. She arrives with a scheme involving a shady casino owner who has a link to Owen, and Gin sets out to untangle it. As Gin works to uncover what Salina really wants, she must weigh her trust in Owen against the secrets from his history that are now surfacing, while relying on her Ice and Stone magic and her knives to protect the people close to her. The novel is the seventh book in Jennifer Estep's Elemental Assassin series, set in the city of Ashland.
