Synopsis
Edinburgh baronet and psychiatrist Sir Adam Sinclair leads the Hunting Lodge, a band of practitioners of white magic. While he is in America to fetch his fiancee, Ximena, his longtime rival Francis Raeburn, a practitioner of black magic, seizes an ancient Pictish dagger in order to channel evil psychic energy. With it he summons William Lord Soulis, Scotland's notorious sorcerer, who demands a body in exchange for teaching Raeburn how to control demons. As Raeburn works with the Lodge of the Lynx, a group seeking to channel demonic power, Adam and his allies are drawn into a final conflict.
