Synopsis

Seattle detective Joanne Walker has already faced gods and the walking dead, but her next case is a murderer who leaves no tracks. A cannibalistic serial killer is loose in the city, and it turns out to be a demon. The creature can be tracked only one way, by going into the Lower World, the shamanic realm of magic and spirits. That is far outside Joanne's jurisdiction, and far outside her training. Her skills are still limited and she is learning on the job, which means the people she has sworn to protect could pay the price if she gets it wrong. Joanne has to decide how far she is willing to go to stop the killer.
