Synopsis
The third and final volume of Tobias O. Meißner's Die Dämonen series shows the survivors of the demon war rebuilding the ruined land of Orison. Adain is a Wiederkehrer, a shape-changing demon and the only one of his kind to survive the old war. After centuries of studying the teachings of the demon king, his curiosity draws him out of the depths. Disguised as a human, he enters the world that has rebuilt itself since the war and finds strange new life and dangerous threats. When he gets hold of the most valuable substance from the old era, he sees his chance for a new demonic invasion. Piper published the book in 2011.
