Synopsis

For five generations Asco-Bahrran, the master magician of the dark ruler, has been thought dead, but in truth his power is undying. Hidden in the reaches of the Finstermark, he gathers an army of bestial avengers to found a principality of horror, and the peaceable people of Thale find themselves facing an overwhelming host. A long time has passed since the events of Elfenfeuer, and many of its characters are gone, so this time it falls not to a single saviour but to many people at once to try to turn back the evil, among them the mist elves whose fate runs through the saga.
