Synopsis
A magical earthquake along the Caribbean coast leaves a scattering of newborns with the power to walk on open water. Fourteen years later, Jolly believes she is the last of the wave-walkers until she meets Munk, who shares her gift and commands old shell-magic. A massive maelstrom in the Atlantic is unleashing destruction on the islands and hunting every wave-walker it can find, and only Jolly and Munk together may be able to seal the vortex -- a journey that will test their fragile alliance to its limits.
