Synopsis
This is the final volume of the Die Zauberer trilogy. War has broken out in the elven realm, with orcs and gnomes threatening the west while humans suffer a major defeat in the east. The young wizard Granock has to drive back the dark elf Margok largely on his own. At the same time he searches for his lost love, Alannah. His search leads him to the Far Shore, a legendary place no one has entered before, where he learns hard truths about the fate of the whole world and about what lies behind the events on Erdwelt.
