Synopsis

The nineteenth book of The Legend of the Ice People, published in English as The Dragon's Teeth. Sölve Lind was nearly grown before he discovered that he was one of the 'touched' of the Ice People, the descendants of Tengel the Evil born with abilities out of the ordinary. He always gets what he wishes for, even when his wishes are selfish or criminal, and he cynically uses his gifts to gain wealth and to seduce beautiful women. Then one day he is told that he has a son, a monster whom no one in the world must ever see, and the consequences of the curse he has embraced come home to him.

Notes

  • From the series record (The Legend of the Ice People): The original 47-volume saga (1982-1989) following the cursed Ice People clan across generations of Scandinavian history, marked by inherited supernatural gifts, a medallion-bound curse, and (in its later volumes) an underground kingdom where time itself runs differently. Two later continuations exist (a further ~35 volumes across two more parts, published years afterward) and are not yet catalogued here pending closer genre review.
