Synopsis
Emily Windsnap and the Castle in the Mist picks up Emily's story as she continues to move between her human life and her mermaid heritage, still adjusting to the demands of belonging to two very different worlds. During an encounter tied to a mysterious, mist-shrouded castle, Emily comes under the effect of an ancient curse whose origins reach back generations. The curse forces her toward a defining decision about her own nature: whether to remain a human girl who can walk on land or to give up that life entirely and become a full mermaid bound to the sea. As Emily investigates the castle and the history behind the curse, she is drawn deeper into questions of loyalty, family, and where she truly belongs, with her closest friends drawn in to help her search for a way through the danger the curse represents.
