Synopsis

Empire of the Dawn, published in November 2025, is the third and concluding book in Jay Kristoff's Empire of the Vampire trilogy. Having lost his family, his faith, and now his adopted daughter Dior, Gabriel de Leon leads a small band of loyal companions into the war-ravaged heart of the Augustin Empire, driven by a singular desire for vengeance against the Forever King. Unaware that the legendary Holy Grail may still be active and racing toward the empire's besieged capital in a parallel effort to end the eternal night known as Daysdeath, Gabriel presses forward through a landscape shaped by decades of vampire rule. As old allies and enemies converge on the capital and the schemes of those in power grow more dangerous, Gabriel must decide what, if anything, he has left to fight for beyond revenge.
