Synopsis

Good Omens, written by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, follows Aziraphale, an angel who runs a bookshop, and Crowley, a demon who has spent his days subtly encouraging mischief, both of whom have lived on Earth since the beginning and grown rather fond of humanity and its comforts. When Hell sets its plan for the apocalypse into motion, arranging for the birth of the Antichrist to a Satanist family so his rise can be monitored, a mix-up at the hospital sends the infant home with the wrong parents. As a result, the real Antichrist, Adam Young, is raised in complete ignorance of his true nature in the ordinary English village of Lower Tadfield, unknowingly gathering power as he grows. With the appointed day approaching, Aziraphale and Crowley, each more attached to the world than to their sides, team up to try to head off Armageddon.
