Synopsis
Cassie Palmer has lost her standing as the supernatural world's top seer, and now she has lost her era too. A spell she does not understand has hurled her fifty years forward, where her magic is gone, her allies are scattered, and she has no plan beyond finding her heir, Rhea. Rhea inherited the Pythian power after Cassie disappeared, but she is now a captive of ancient gods who have returned and reduced Earth to a wasteland. Cassie joins John Pritkin, Mircea Basarab and a band of survivors to get back to their own time and prevent this future from happening.
