Synopsis
Julin, a young apprentice, follows his teacher Darian to Lom, a salt city in a mountain land that was once ruled by warrior kings. At a gathering of magicians, Darian and an alchemist plan to show how stone can be turned into gold without magic, and both die. Julin is convinced that the dead man is not his master. Together with the trader Haliz and the huntress Fenja, he follows the trail to the silver mines and the tombs of the old kings, hoping to find out what really happened and what the old kings left behind.
