Synopsis
Princess Jonnvinn is haunted by a recurring nightmare that her younger sister Nive is in danger. Nive, a gifted glass artist, has travelled to Ganarr, a glassmaking city in the desert, to perfect her craft. When Jonnvinn learns that Nive has gone further into the desert to free the legendary Glasvolk, a people long ago trapped in glass by a Woran, she sets out after her, accompanied by a stable boy who loves Nive. To free the captives Nive must unlock her own Woran powers and accept a curse of unbound magic. Only Jonnvinn can stop her, but she must first survive thirst, desert spirits and demons.
